Experience Change with Advocate Homes

Man with Down Syndrome Playing Violin

It takes an open minded individual to look beyond a disability, and see, that ability has so much more to offer, than the limitations society tries to place upon them.

Our Story

We were established in June of 2002 by Greg and Renee Staed in an attempt to meet the needs of care for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Danville and Boyle County.

We are a Supports for Community Living (SCL) Program located in Danville, KY. SCL is a home and community-based waiver under the Kentucky Medicaid program developed as an alternative to institutional care for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. SCL allows individuals to remain in or return to the community in the least restrictive setting.

We strive to make each day better than the last!
